The Great British Pub Crawl postpones Chester visit
The pair behind the Great British Pub Crawl were forced to cancel their trip to Chester due to ill health.
A post on their Facebook page said: "Having spent most of the night up coughing and spluttering and only just really woken up... there is sadly no way we'll be making it to Chester today either."
On Saturday 18 January they were set to scour Chester's streets, looking for the city's best spots for a pint and a bite to eat.
The 'Notts-based' couple have built their page through an attempt to 'to visit every single pub, bar, micropub, social club and anywhere else they serve beer across this great country'.
Each pub they visit gets its own review, generating important coverage of independent or hidden spots, along with well-known locations.
Starting on March 16 2022, their social media has seen tremendous growth, with over one million Youtube views, and over 100,000 followers on their facebook page.
In a recent post, it was revealed they would be trying out Chester's pubs next.
It said: "We are off to the city of CHESTER!
"Having heard so many good things about how beautiful this city is, we are looking for YOUR HELP to make sure we visit as many of its great pubs as we can on Saturday!"
Users were quick to recommend Chester's best spots, with common suggestions being Cavern of the Curious Gnome, That Beer Place, The Brewery Tap, The Albion and many more.
You can follow the couple's journey on their page here.
