Chester-based dementia specialist, Belong, recently celebrated all things love for Valentine's Day.

Residents and tenants at the City Road care village joined together, taking part in various themed activities to mark the day.

The experiences on offer for residents included: friendship speed-dating, flower arranging and a pamper and makeup masterclass.

A notable part of the day was a Parisian picnic, which saw customers exploring famous delicacies, the sound of traditional French music and the sharing of their own love stories.

Charlotte Parton, experience coordinator at Belong Chester, said: "We've been busy celebrating the season of love and our customers have loved coming together to express themselves, learn a thing or two, and create gifts for loved ones.

"A happy Valentine's Day to all!"
