Cheshire College to host free community event
By Dherran Titherington 5th May 2026
Cheshire College will host a free Community Fun Day next month across its Chester, Crewe and Ellesmere Port campuses.
Taking place on Saturday 9 May from 11am to 2pm, the event will feature a programme of activities at each campus including live performances, games, arts and crafts workshops, and community stalls.
Food and refreshments will also be available, prepared by the college's hospitality students and staff.
The event is open to families and residents across the region, with no booking required.
Local charities, volunteer groups and small businesses will be in attendance, giving visitors the chance to find out more about services and support available across Cheshire.
Jasbir Dhesi OBE, Principal and CEO, Cheshire College – South & West said: "With strong links to the communities it serves, the College uses events like this to build on those connections outside the classroom.
"The Community Fun Day brings together residents and local organisations from across Cheshire, and visitors will be welcomed onto the campuses to spend time with us, take part in activities, and connect with local charities, organisations and community groups."
Visitors can also learn more about studying at Cheshire College. Staff will be available across all three campuses to provide information on courses for school leavers and adults looking to retrain or progress in their careers.
The Community Fun Day is free to attend and open to all, with no booking required.
