By The Editor 19th Oct 2026
More than 150 guests came together to celebrate the local heroes in sport, health, and wellbeing at the Everybody Awards 2026, held recently at Cranage Estate in Cheshire.
Special guests included Professor Steve Peters and the awards were hosted by Mark Foster, a former Olympic swimmer who represented Great Britain at the highest level of international sport for 23 years.
Competing at five Olympic Games, winning six world titles, and breaking the world record eight times, Mark has become a familiar face on television and a respected presenter and broadcaster since retiring from competitive swimming.
Organised by Everybody Health and Leisure, the awards shine a spotlight on the individuals, volunteers, community groups and organisations making a positive difference across Cheshire East.
Andrew Kolker, chairman of Everybody Health and Leisure, said: "Every year, we're inspired by the stories shared through nominations for the Everybody Awards, and 2026 has been no exception.
"The finalists and winners represent the very best of our communities. Their dedication, compassion and commitment to helping others live healthier and happier lives or their own sporting achievements is truly remarkable.
"Congratulations to everyone who was nominated, shortlisted and recognised this year."
