Open mic night - Thursday 30 April - The Deva Tap

The Deva Tap will host its popular open mic night this Thursday, starting at 7pm at the Brook Street pub.
Whether you're keen to perform or simply enjoy an evening of live music, the event promises a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Food will be served until 8:30pm, alongside a wide selection of specialist beers from independent breweries.
Budding musicians are encouraged to get involved, with a free drink offered to every performer. The venue will also provide professional sound equipment, including amps, speakers and microphones.

Country Fest - Friday 1 May - The Live Rooms

The Live Rooms will host a country music night this Friday, featuring a live band and DJs playing Nashville-inspired hits.
The event promises a mix of modern and classic country anthems from artists including Luke Combs, Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash, with live sets alongside music throughout the night.
Open to ages 14 and over, the night is set to bring a lively Bank Holiday atmosphere to the Chester venue.

Chester Makers Market - Saturday 2 May - Exchange Square & Town Hall Square

Chester Makers Market will return to the city centre this Saturday, bringing a wide selection of independent stalls, artisan food and handmade goods.
Based across Exchange Square and Town Hall Square, the market will feature a range of local traders offering handcrafted jewellery, homeware, street food, baked goods and a variety of unique gifts.
Visitors can expect a broad mix of small independent businesses showcasing their products in the heart of the city centre.
Running from 10am to 4pm, the event is dog-friendly and live music will take place throughout the day.
Enchanted: The Ultimate Princess Concert - Saturday 2 May - Storyhouse

A candlelit concert featuring well-known princess songs is coming to Storyhouse this weekend.
Performed by talented musical theatre singers, the concert features songs from favourites including Frozen, Moana and The Lion King, bringing much-loved fairy tale music to life.
Aimed at audiences of all ages – particularly children aged six and above – the show focuses on live music and performance rather than storytelling, making it an engaging introduction to the magic of theatre.
