Held on City Road, the monthly market runs from 11am to 4pm and brings together a wide range of independent traders from across the North West.

A community-led arts festival is coming to Alexander's Live in Chester this Saturday, supporting future creative projects in the city.
The daytime programme focuses on hands-on art and participation, with activities including live street artists painting on site, mask making, collage work, designing your own jigsaw, decorating jumpsuits, and contributing to a mini art gallery and life-sized portrait project.
Street Level 26 runs from 12:30pm until late, with DJs playing throughout the day, creating a relaxed atmosphere that continues into the evening.
Entry is £3.50 for adults, with under 12s going free, and organisers are encouraging families and visitors to get involved in the creative activities on offer.

An exhibition exploring the history of Chester's Roman past continues at the Grosvenor Museum this weekend.
Chester Amphitheatre - An 8000 Year Story looks at one of the city's most significant archaeological sites, from its pre-Roman origins through to the centuries following the Roman departure.
The exhibition features discoveries from major excavations carried out between 2004 and 2006, in partnership with English Heritage and the former Chester City Council.
It runs until July and is free to visit during normal museum opening hours. Find out more here.

Blending comedy, thriller and spy drama, it follows one of the most unusual wartime operations in history. The production has been a major critical success in the West End, winning the 2024 Olivier Award for Best New Musical.
