A Dickensian Grotto will appear at the Grosvenor Museum this weekend.
The event description reads: "In addition to traditional presents, museum crafts and cafe, Father Christmas will once again be appearing in his traditional green robes, set within a seventeenth century townhouse to the rear of the museum.
"As before, there is the option for nervous children to meet Mother Christmas instead, who also speaks Makaton sign language.
"It's really important for us to include everyone so, like last year, we have extended time slots during the first hour of the grotto so that SEN children with additional learning difficulties and special needs can get some quality time with Mother and Father Christmas.
"The Dickensian Grotto remains one of the few local grottos where adults go free. Given the grotto's short festive run this year, people are encouraged to pre-book to avoid disappointment."
