After a traditional Sunday Roast with all the trimmings?

This weekend at The Deva Tap, the team will be serving up their famous Sunday Roast - with the option of roast beef, chicken, gammon or nut roast. There's also the option for the full trio of meats.

Midsummer Watch festival - Chester - Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 June

One of Britain's oldest festivals will return to Chester's streets this weekend (Nub News)

One of Britain's oldest festivals will return to Chester's streets this weekend.

Chester's Midsummer Watch is a tradition reflecting 500 years of the city's history.

It will take place on Saturday 21 June and Sunday 22 June.

A description for this event reads: "The parade route runs through the city centre, leaving Chester Town Hall Square at 2pm on both days.

"It will move from Chester High Cross to Watergate Street, Bridge Street, Eastgate Street and St Werburgh Street - before returning to the Town Hall square for a finale."

Georgian Fair- Chester Castle - 21/22 June

Said to be their "wildest event to date", Chester Castle will host its first 'Georgian Fair' this weekend.

With free entry, attendees can expect "a hilarious weekend of historical fun", set within the historic grounds of Chester Castle.

You will head back to the 18th century, discovering the sites and sounds of a Georgian Summer Fair.

A description for this event reads: "Come and talk to the citizens of Chester including market sellers, tradesmen, musicians and the military"

The free event will run from 10am to 4pm and no booking is needed.

Chester Walk Club - Little Yellow Pig - Saturday 21 June

Every Saturday morning the group meets at a coffee shop in Chester (Nub News)

Chester Walk Club is a group designed for women wanting to meet new people in Chester.

Every Saturday morning the group meets at a coffee shop in Chester before starting the walk.

This weekend, the walk will start at Little Yellow Pig on Goodstall Lane, Chester.

A description for the event reads: "We're back in action! Join us on Saturday at 9.30am at Little Yellow pig for coffee and steps.

"All you need to do is show up."
