A sighting of him has since been established on CCTV at 4.25am on Sunday 23 November in New Crane Street.

Detective Chief Inspector Ian Murray said: "Officers are currently conducting a number of enquiries to locate William, and we are urging anyone who may have seen him to get in touch with us.

"We would also ask people to check their CCTV, dashcam or video doorbells in case this captures his direction of travel.
