Police are appealing for witnesses following the assault and robbery of a 15-year-old boy in Lache, Chester.

On January 14 at 7.13pm, a 15-year-old boy was punched and robbed outside Subway on Hough Green.

He had been on his electric bike outside the fast-food chain before he was approached by a man shouting 'police'. The man then punched the teenager and stole his bike.

Described as being white and approximately 30-35 years old, the suspect is of stocky build, with a beard and moustache.

He was wearing shorts, a jacket and baseball cap.

The bike is a Carrera Vulcan E-Bike and is black with light green stripes on the top frame and sides. It has 'stunt' pegs attached.

"I'd urge anyone who witnessed the robbery or has seen this bike to contact police," said DC Steph Bouckley.

"The same goes for anyone who may have dash cam or doorbell footage that may help our investigation."
