Last night (Thursday 6 November), nineties boyband Five performed a surprise live set at a Chester pub.
The iconic boyband surprised guests at the Carlton Tavern in Handbridge with a free gig, as part of giffgaff's 'switch-on party'.
Organisers had remained tight-lipped on the identity of the band ahead of the event, with the exact location revealed only after tickets were claimed.
Formed in 1997, Five is the only UK act to hit the Top 10 with all of their 11 singles, including three number ones.

The group, made up of Abz Love, J Brown, Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson and Sean Conlon, arrived in Chester as a stop-off in between their 12-date UK arena tour, Keep On Movin' 2025.
Celebrating Chester becoming one of the first areas in the UK to go live on giffgaff's new broadband, the event featured a DJ set, free drinks and snacks, as well as a food truck offering free burritos.
Five performed two songs, including Keep on Movin' and When the Lights Go Out.
Over the years, the band has topped charts across the globe, selling more than 20 million records worldwide.
Following on from Liverpool on Wednesday, the band will arrive in Manchester this evening (Friday 7 November), before going on to Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle, Aberdeen, Glasgow, and London where they will perform at The O2.
