Man charged in relation to Chester burglary

A man has been charged in connection with a burglary in Chester.

Stephen Prior, of Northgate Street, Chester, was arrested on Wednesday 7 January 2026.

The 47-year-old has since been charged with burglary, attempted burglary and breaching a criminal behaviour order.

The charges relate to reports of a burglary at an address in Clifton Drive, Blacon, on Thursday 1 January 2026.

They also concern an attempted burglary at the location on Friday 2 January 2026.

Prior will next appear at Chester Crown Court on Thursday 5 February 2026.
