Man charged following Chester drug dog operation

A man has been charged following a drug dog operation near Chester Railway Station.

Richard Henry Roberts, of no fixed abode, was arrested in Chester on Saturday 28 June in relation to drugs offences.

The 51-year-old has since been charged with possession with intent to supply a drug of class A (heroin) and possession of criminal property.

He has been remanded in custody until a hearing at Chester Crown Court on Monday 28 July.

The charge relates to an arrest made during a drugs dog operation near Chester Railway Station on Saturday 28 June.
