Man arrested in connection with Chester bomb hoax

Police investigating a bomb hoax, which caused widespread disruption to Chester City Centre on Friday 22 November, have arrested a man.

The 28-year-old from Ellesmere Port was arrested in Chester today (Tuesday 26 November). He remains in custody helping police with their enquiries.

The arrest follows enquiries into the report of suspicious activity on two busses in Chester City Centre on Friday 22 November. One near the train station and one near the bus interchange.
