Chester homeless charity appeals for warm clothing as cold weather hits

A Chester charity is appealing for warm clothing.
In a recent Facebook post, Soul Kitchen Chester asked for donations of winter clothing, following a period of extremely cold weather.
It said: "We are in desperate need of warm men and women's clothing (mostly men's) - these need to be clean and in good condition.
"We need jumpers, fleeces, jeans,& jogging bottoms -please note we cannot accept other items."
Items can be dropped off at Campbell Hall, Boughton this Saturday from 4pm to 6pm.
Soul Kitchen Chester consists of a group of volunteers who provide food and support to anyone experiencing loneliness, food poverty or homelessness.
They also provide free cookery sessions for those who are homeless and/or in temporary accommodation.
Based in Chester, the charity works with partners across Cheshire to help people access a range of services including housing, mental health, addiction recovery, financial support and employment.
