In a bid to promote mindful consumption, Chester's Grosvenor Museum is hosting a free clothes swap.
From 10:30am to 4pm on 22 March, guests can bring clothes they no longer wear and trade them for new pieces.
Items must be clean and in good condition, as they will be checked on the door.
If they are found to be well-worn, faded, personalised, damaged or in poor condition, they will not be accepted.
It is recommended that attendees bring around five to eight items each, with a maximum of ten items.
Shoes, bags and accessories are also welcome.
Booking is not necessary; if guests wish to arrange drop-offs before the event, they can visit here.
The free event hosted by CWAC Museums seeks to promote sustainability via second-hand shopping and consuming mindfully.
In a statement it said: "Clothes swaps are great for your wardrobe and even better for the environment.
"Did you know that the fashion industry is the second largest polluter in the world, and that three out of every five items will end up in landfill within a year of purchase?
"Together, we can make a change.
"By consuming mindfully, repurposing and buying second-hand and making small changes to the way we shop."
