Free travel on Chester's Park & Ride throughout January
Cheshire West and Chester Council is offering free travel on the city's Park & Ride service throughout January 2025.
The offer applies to single day tickets, purchased on bus from any of the operational sites at Boughton Heath, Upton or Wrexham Road.
The Council's Deputy Leader and cabinet member for environment, highways and strategic, Cllr Karen Shore, said: "When coming into Chester in the new year, please give the Park & Ride a try.
"We know Christmas can be a very happy time for most but can also lead to financial pressures in the new year.
"Free travel on the Park & Ride can lighten the load for our residents and visitors."
Travelling on the Park & Ride is easy and now free. Just drive and park at one of the sites, board a bus and take your free ticket from the driver.
Buses run at regular intervals until 7pm (5.30pm Sundays).
The Park & Ride buses have USB charging, free wifi and premium seating.
The offer has been made possible by funding from the department of transport under its bus service improvement plan grant.
