Consultation has begun on a proposed scheme for 130 new homes in a Cheshire Village.
Muller Property Group is preparing an outline planning application for a housing development on land located north of Chester Road in Tattenhall.
The scheme, which includes 30% affordable housing, alongside public open space, also features two play areas, landscaping, drainage infrastructure, ecological enhancements and new walking connections.
It includes a mix of one to five bedroom homes, including detached, semi-detached, mews properties and cottage apartments, according to the consultation website.
Located on the northern edge of Tattenhall, the 17.7-acre site is within walking distance of the village centre.
Muller Property Group will take feedback from now until 12 October on its outline proposals. The developer hopes to submit a planning app by end of the year to Cheshire West and Chester Council.
It forms part of an emerging location for growth, according to the developer, with land adjoining and close to the site "already subject to separate planning applications for residential development".
Muller's plans are one of several being put forward to deliver housing in Tattenhall, which sits less than 10 miles south of Chester.
Michael Lovatt, area land director for Muller, said Tattenhall was "already being considered as an important location for future housing growth".
He added: "With adjoining and nearby land subject to separate planning applications, it is important that proposals for this part of the village are considered within their wider context."
He added later: "Our aim is to create more than a standalone housing development. We want to deliver a well-connected, landscape-led neighbourhood that responds sensitively to Keys Brook, existing trees and hedgerows and Tattenhall's distinctive village character.
"These plans are still at an early stage, and we would encourage local residents to review the proposals and share their views. The feedback we receive will be carefully considered as the plans develop."
The early-stage illustrative layout has been shaped around the site's existing landscape and environmental features.
Keys Brook would be retained within a "generous" green ecological corridor running through the centre of the development, incorporating new habitats, sustainable drainage features and informal walking routes.
Existing trees and hedgerows would be retained wherever possible and supplemented with new native planting.
Feedback received during the consultation will help inform and shape the proposals before an outline planning application is prepared.
The proposals are at a pre-application stage. This consultation is taking place before a planning application is submitted so community feedback can help inform the design.
