A local salon recently hosted a festive charity fundraiser in support of the Hospice of the Good Shepherd.

Oliver George Salon, based in Hoole, kicked off the Christmas season with a charity event, treating guests to fizz, mince pies and beautifully curated goodie bags.

The Hospice of the Good Shepherd provides vital care and support across Cheshire.

Passionate about championing the charity's important work, the salon's team sought to raise funds for a charity that holds deep personal meaning for them and their families.

Clients, friends and members of the local community visited the salon throughout the afternoon to enjoy festive refreshments and help raise much-needed funds.

"It means so much to us that our clients and wider community came out to support the Hospice of the Good Shepherd," said Stephen Pritchard, owner of Oliver George Salon.

"Their kindness, generosity, and spirit truly made the day special. We are proud to play a small part in helping a charity that is so important to so many of us."
