An Altrincham-based chocolatier is set to arrive at Chester Market later this month.

Sam Joseph Chocolates, a chocolatier and dessert shop, is the newest arrival to Chester Market - set to open October 14.

The chocolatier's story began in 2014, with partners Sam and Claire selling handmade chocolates at food markets across Manchester.

Later that year the duo gained a permanent spot inside of Altrincham Market, where they have been ever since.

Alongside their handmade chocolates, the stall offers desserts, hot and cold drinks and freshly baked goods.

Today, each luxury artisan chocolate is handcrafted daily inside a production kitchen based in Chester.

Now the business is expanding within the city to Chester Market.

Announcing its opening date, the business said: "Sam Joseph Chocolates is coming to the fantastic New Chester Market.

"We're so thrilled to be joining such an amazing group of traders and can't wait to share our handmade chocolates with all of you.

"We've begun the fit out of our new shop and we'll be opening on the 14th October, just in time for UK Chocolate Week, and can't wait to welcome you all. See you soon."
