A Chester tour guide has been nominated as a finalist in this year's Enterprise Vision Awards – the UK's largest business awards dedicated solely to women.

Taking place in September, the awards champion entrepreneurs - celebrating women who are "building businesses, creating a positive impact and making a real difference" in their communities.

Each finalist has been selected based on their demonstrated impact, creativity and commitment to business.

Stephanie Bath, of Chester on a Plate Food Tours, has been confirmed as a finalist in the Best Customer Service category.

Cestrian born and bred, she launched the food tour last year after working in similar positions across the country.

Stephanie's food tour allows attendees to explore all the city has to offer - trying interesting dishes whilst meeting the "food heroes" behind some of the city's best independent businesses.

The tour guide focuses on introducing participants to independent eateries and the people at the heart of Chester's food scene.

Acknowledging the nomination over social media, Stephanie said: "I know tour guests have felt they've had special treatment from all the brilliant teams at the venues we visit, as well as having a laugh and being talked at by me."
