Students at The King's School Chester have achieved top A Level grades, ranking them amongst the highest achievers nationally.

Branded as a "truly exceptional year" of A Level results, students are celebrating the highest percentage of A* grades since pre-pandemic grading.

The day also marks the best results achieved across the board in three years.

"Year after year, our students prove that determination and intellectual curiosity lead to outstanding outcomes," said headmaster George Hartley.

"Their success is not only reflected in the grades achieved but also in the resilience, independence and confidence they have developed through enthusiastic involvement in a whole host of broader, character-forming activities at King's."

Results achieved today have placed King's students amongst the highest achievers nationally and will see them progress to some of the UK's most competitive courses and universities.

Josh Carter, head of Sixth Form, added: "These results are the product of a talented year group consistently engaging with exceptional teaching and a school culture that encourages ambition and personal responsibility.

"We are immensely proud of each student's achievements and excited to see the impact they will make in their chosen fields."
