A Chester business is celebrating its first anniversary with a special community event featuring competitions, exclusive offers and a charity raffle.

Your Chester Spa and Your Chester GP, based on Northgate Street, will mark one year in the city with a series of anniversary celebrations on 20 and 21 June.

Since opening last year, the business has combined private healthcare and wellness services under one roof, offering private GP appointments, health assessments, wellness treatments and lifestyle support.

Taking place across two days, the celebrations begin on Saturday 20 June, with an exclusive VIP event, recognising individuals and organisations that have supported the business during its first year.

On Sunday 21 June, the venue will host a free health and wellbeing open day, giving residents the chance to tour the facilities, meet healthcare and wellness professionals, and learn more about services designed to support long-term health and wellbeing.

Anyone booking a treatment during the open day will receive a 30% discount on a future appointment.

Visitors will also be able to take part in competitions, enjoy exclusive offers and enter a charity raffle in support of River & Sea Sense, a not-for-profit organisation that uses rivers, lakes and coastal environments to improve physical health, mental wellbeing and social connection.

The raffle will feature prizes donated by local businesses, with all proceeds going towards the charity's work across the region.

Local radio station Dee 106.3 will also broadcast live from the venue throughout the day, interviewing guests and helping to promote the importance of preventative healthcare.

Dr Catherine Harris, director of Your Chester Spa and Your Chester GP, said the anniversary was "a significant milestone", made only possible from community support.

She said: "Our anniversary weekend is our opportunity to say thank you.

"Saturday allows us to celebrate with those who have supported our journey, while Sunday's Community Open Day is about opening our doors to the wider community and helping more people discover the benefits of investing in their health.

"Over the last year we have had the privilege of helping people take positive steps towards improving their health and wellbeing, whether through faster access to healthcare, preventative health assessments, wellness treatments or simply creating a space where people can prioritise themselves.

"We're particularly proud to be supporting River & Sea Sense through our charity raffle. The charity's focus on wellbeing, connection and positive life experiences aligns closely with our own values."

The open day takes place on Sunday 21 June at Your Chester Spa and Your Chester GP, Centurion House, Northgate Street, Chester.
