A Chester city centre eatery has launched a 20% discount on its menu as it extends its summer opening hours.

Poke Bowl on Northgate Street is offering diners the discount on all menu items between 5pm until closing, starting from Friday 31 July.

The deal includes the venue's poke bowls, acai bowls, ceremonial-grade matcha drinks and superfood smoothies, with the owners saying the extended hours are designed to give people more options for evening meals and catch-ups in the city centre.

Owner Shafiq said: "We wanted to spend more time in the city we love while the weather's gorgeous and perfect for the food and drinks we serve.

"Summer evenings in Chester deserve a proper poke bowl or a good matcha, and now people can grab one a little later."

The promotion is available Monday to Saturday from 5pm to 7.30pm and Sundays from 5pm to 7pm. No booking is required, with walk-ins welcome.

The business has also teased a new menu addition coming soon, with more details expected to be announced shortly.

There is currently no confirmed end date for the discount.
