A new 'boutique games playground' will open in Chester city centre this spring.
With three other sites across the country, Spinners Chester seeks to create a 'one-of-a-kind experience' where people can challenge their friends and family with interactive games.
Part of the wider Spinners Group, the company submitted a licensing application to Cheshire West and Chester Council last December, which has now been approved.
Located inside Frodsham Street's former Poundland store, which relocated to Foregate Street in 2023, the business 'reimagines classic favourites' such as bowling, darts, clay shooting, and mini golf.
A spokesperson said: "Spinners Chester is a boutique games playground for friends, families, and workmates.
"Our take on classic games including Duckpin Bowling, Electric Darts, Clay Shooting, Interactive Mini Golf, Electric Boules and Shuffleboard.
"Expect seriously Instagrammable interiors, cosy corners, and big flavours: artisan pizzas, signature Spinners Burgers, loaded sides, plus classic (and theatrical) cocktails, all served with good vibes.
"Whether it's a date night, birthday party, team social or a fun family day out, Spinners is set to be Chester's go-to activity bar."
Proposed opening hours have been listed as 11am to 10:30pm from Monday, Tuesday and Sunday. On Wednesday and Thursday the venue will be open until 11:30pm - closing an hour later on Friday and Saturday.
The company describes competitive socialising as 'the perfect escape from everyday life', whilst enjoying 'handcrafted cocktails and delicious food'.
