This short film takes reveals the rich history of Chester, from its Roman origins to a view of it in 1931.
You'll see lots of familiar locations and places, such as St Peter's Church and the Rows - which are described as 'one of the strangest shopping centres in England'.
It also gives a deep insight on the history of Chester Cathedral, whilst providing footage of what life in Chester looked like in the early 20th century.
