Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Swindon, SN25

Pay Rate: 13.00 p/h

Contract: Temporary ongoing with permanent opportunities available

gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for 1 Counterbalance Forklift Driver for a temp to perm assignment in Storage and Distribution centre, in Swindon, Groundwell Industrial Estate . As a Counterbalance Forklift driver your time will be split between both the yard and warehouse facilities - duties split can be such as 85% FLT and 15% picking or packing duties.

Main Duties as a Counterbalance Forklift Driver:

  • Loading / Unloading lorries
  • Stock replenishment into both yard and warehouse departments - when needed
  • Transport of products throughout the yard as per supervisor request
  • High Picks
  • Working from pick & loading sheets and collecting picked items
  • Manual picking
  • Packing orders as and when needed

Working Hours

  • Monday - Friday, 12:00 - 22:00

Hourly Pay Rates

  • Basic Rate - £13.00 p/h

Successful candidates will have experience working in similar role, you will be asked to provide your Forklift certificate and experience is essential in this role. As part of the selection process, inductions will be held on site in line with their health and safety policies.

This is an ongoing, full-time opportunity with immediate starts available! In this role, you will be carrying out night trunking fridge runs to regional distribution centres across the country. There is no handball involved, and the work is consistent all year round. You will be an essential part of our clients operation, helping ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of goods.Shifts are Monday to Friday, starting around 16:00 each day.
