Chester (Field-Based Role)

£40,000 to £65,000 + Overtime + Vehicle + Bonus

Neos Engineering are partnering with a reputable electrical engineering firm specialising in low-voltage (LV) infrastructure projects across North Wales and the North West. Due to ongoing expansion, they are seeking experienced LV Cable Jointers to join their field-based team operating in North Wales and surrounding areas.

The Role:

• Carry out jointing, termination, and testing of low-voltage cables on live and de-energised networks
• Work on a range of projects including underground LV cable installations, repairs, and maintenance
• Perform fault finding and cable fault repairs on LV systems
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site-specific safety procedures
• Liaise with site teams, clients, and Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) to facilitate smooth project execution
• Complete accurate records of work performed and testing outcomes
• Travel to various sites across Chester and the wider North West region as required

The Candidate:

• Proven experience as an LV Cable Jointer working on low-voltage networks
• Relevant certifications and qualifications for LV cable jointing (City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of LV safety regulations, live working procedures, and network operations
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the region
• CSCS card and other relevant health and safety qualifications preferred
