Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record in the aerospace industry? We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our client on a 12 month contract on a key project. This is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-pressure environment and has the expertise to lead complex projects as the sole point of contact.
About the Role
As the Contract Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a critical project within our aerospace division. This role requires end-to-end project management, ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget. You'll be the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, driving collaboration and maintaining accountability to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the project lifecycle, from initiation to delivery.
- Act as the sole point of contact for all project stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring smooth project delivery.
- Provide clear and regular reporting to senior management and clients, highlighting progress and key milestones.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant aerospace standards and regulations.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Extensive experience as a Project Manager within the global aerospace industry, having worked at some point for the likes of Airbus, BAE etc.
- A proven track record of delivering high-value, complex projects on time and within scope.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to act as a trusted single point of contact.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven approach.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Experience working within aerospace engineering environments and familiarity with industry standards.
