Air Tightness & Acoustic Tester - Chester

About the RoleWe're looking for a certified Air Tightness & Acoustic Tester to join our expanding team in Chester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects in Chester and beyond, helping to improve building performance and sustainability across the UK.

What You'll Do

  • Carry out air tightness testing on domestic and non-domestic buildings in line with ATTMA standards.

  • Perform sound insulation testing in accordance with ANC guidelines and Building Regulations.

  • Produce clear, accurate reports with practical recommendations.

  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and site teams in Chester and nationwide.

  • Travel to sites across the UK, representing the company with professionalism and expertise.

What We're Looking For

  • ATTMA Level 2 certification (Domestic & Non-Domestic).

  • ANC Sound Testing certification.

  • Strong numerical background (GCSE/A-Level Maths).

  • Full, clean UK driving licence.

  • Proactive, organised, and a confident communicator.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Visiting client sites to complete air tightness and acoustic tests, primarily in Chester and the surrounding areas.

  • Setting up, operating, and maintaining testing equipment.

  • Analysing results and producing professional reports.

  • Problem-solving with site teams and providing expert advice.

  • Managing your workload to ensure deadlines are met.
