Catering and Retail Assistant (EL81m)

Salary: £23,492 pro rata per annum (Actual £16,271)

Contract Type: Fixed Term, Maternity Cover

Hours: 30hours per week, Term Time Only (36weeks)

Location: Ellesmere Port Campus

We are seeking a Catering and Retail Assistant to join our team; the role will predominantly be based at the Ellesmere Port Campus with the flexibility of working at our other campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of food for sale to customers
• Ensuring all kitchen equipment is clean and fit for purpose
• Undertaking online stock orders and checking deliveries
• Promote the welfare of children and young people

Key Person Specification Requirements:

• GCSE Grade C (4/5) in Maths and English or equivalent(or willingness to work towards)
• Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject are (or willingness to work towards)
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to work towards)
• Experience in the Hospitality and Catering sector
• Experience of cashing up
• Enhanced DBS check
