Are you an enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher available for work this term within secondary schools across Chester?

Are you looking for flexible day to day supply? Or something longer term?

Perhaps you're a ECT or NQT looking to gain more classroom based experience before embarking on your first permanent teaching role?

Due to demand for a Chemistry Teacher Academics are looking to recruit a Chemistry Teacher to work within our partnership secondary schools across Chester starting either ASAP or from September 2024.

We have a variety of roles coming in from day to day supply to longer-term contracts so whatever you're looking for we're able to help!

We're now starting to look at the needs for our secondary schools for next academic year, if you're a qualified Chemistry Teacher available for full or part-time roles from September we'd love to hear from you.

As a Chemistry Teacher working on supply with us you will need:

  • A proven track record of teaching Business Studies across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
  • To hold the relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed or BA Hons) with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status
  • To be able to teach engaging Chemistry lessons using you own initiative whilst having a excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through Academics (cost applied)
