Teachers (A Level)

We are looking to appoint teachers/lecturers to teach A Level and BTEC subjects across the region, to work at a high achieving schools and collages with excellent resources and support. The role will involve teaching all subjects and classes. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an academic environment with students who are highly motivated.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, delivering and marking lessons.
• Giving constructive and guided feedback to students both written and verbally
• Summative and formative assessment, guide progress through marking and feedback, support and 121 if necessary.
• Attending departmental meetings and communicating effectively with parents.
• Encouraged to share best practice within and beyond the department
• Lead extracurricular enrichment activities to extend learning beyond the classroom

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Successful candidates should hold a degree/masters and/or PGCE with a relevant teaching background or the international equivalent.
• Hold an up-to-date DBS certificate on the update service

• Possess an excellent subject knowledge

• Have excellent knowledge of the British Curriculum
• Maintain exceptional classroom practice
• Work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues

Payment scale advertised is based upon the teacher pay scale from M1 to M6. Actual pay is based upon relevant teaching experience.
