The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in Mechanical Contracts/Projects Management. With a proven track record of delivering high-value mechanical projects (including building services, plumbing, pipework, and HVAC), you will have experience managing a wide range of project types, including schools, hospitals, retail spaces, care homes, and other public and commercial service facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, implement, and deliver projects to align with programme, budget, and quality requirements.

Develop an in-depth understanding of Scope of Works and Specifications.

Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning to practical completion.

Manage and coordinate subcontractors, including procurement and oversight of Variation accounts.

Ensure forward planning is consistently applied throughout the project cycle.

Prepare and maintain project trackers on a weekly basis and submit internal reports to line management.

Monitor Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance and promptly address any issues.
Skills & Experience Required

Time-served with industry qualifications or an HNC in Building Services.

A minimum of 4 years experience in a Mechanical Contracts Manager role, overseeing projects of comparable value.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Proficient IT skills and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Demonstrates a customer-focused approach, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
