Joiner Chester£20 - £23 per hour Time Recruitment Solutions are seeking a skilled and experienced Joiner to join a dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving the school's facilities. About the role You will be responsible for a variety of general joinery and carpentry duties across the school premises. The available works include, but are not limited to:
  • Bell Tower: Timber replacements and splicing.
  • Door Casings: Installation and maintenance in units 1, 2, 3, 7, and 8.
  • Window Boards: Installation and maintenance in units 1, 2, 3, 7, and 8.
  • New Build: Sub-timber works.
  • Hallway: Joist works.
What is expected The school is looking for a reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented individual with:
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated ability in various joinery and carpentry tasks, including those listed above.
  • Relevant Qualifications: Ideally, holding appropriate qualifications in carpentry and joinery (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
  • Essential Certifications:
    • CSCS Card: A valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card to demonstrate your skills and commitment to safety standards on construction sites.
    • Asbestos Awareness Training: Certification demonstrating awareness of asbestos dangers and safe working practices, as legally required for those who may encounter asbestos in their work environment.
  • Safety Conscious: A strong commitment to safe working practices and adherence to all relevant regulations.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Clear communication with colleagues and school staff is essential.

Civils Site Experience: At least 2years experience in setting out and surveying within the civil engineering industry.
