Are you an experienced Financial Services Administrator looking to join a growing wealth management business with strong long-term opportunities?
We are working with a well-established financial planning firm that is looking to appoint a Client & Adviser Support professional to its Chester office.
This is a varied role supporting Financial Advisers and their clients throughout the advice process. You will be responsible for progressing cases from initial instruction through to completion, working closely with advisers, clients, providers and the wider paraplanning team.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing new business across pensions, investments and protection
- Issuing Letters of Authority and gathering provider information
- Liaising with clients, advisers and product providers
- Maintaining accurate client records and updating back-office systems
- Obtaining quotations and illustrations through internal teams
- Monitoring service levels and ensuring cases progress within agreed timescales
- Chasing outstanding business through to completion
- Working closely with paraplanners to ensure suitability reports are completed ahead of client meetings
- Supporting advisers with the day-to-day management of their client bank
The Candidate
We are looking for someone with:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within an IFA, Financial Planning or Wealth Management environment
- Good knowledge of pensions and investments, with protection experience advantageous
- Experience processing new business and dealing with providers
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence communicating with both clients and advisers
- A proactive approach and ability to manage multiple cases at once
Experience using Xplan would be advantageous, as would exposure to providers such as Aegon, AJ Bell, Fidelity and Aviva.
Candidates who have completed one or more RO exams are particularly encouraged to apply, although this is not essential where strong technical and process knowledge can be demonstrated.
